Thin, soft, unbuffered tissue for interleaving between sheets, padding a fold in storage and wrapping objects inside a box. Unbuffered as standard here because interleaving tissue ends up against everything, including the protein-based and photographic material that a buffer harms, and a store that holds one tissue is better served by the one that is safe against everything than by the one that is optimal against paper alone. Soft enough to be crumpled and used as a support inside a fold without creasing the object it is supporting. Neutral pH, no optical brightening agents, no sizing. This is a genuine consumable and should be treated as one — tissue that has been in contact with anything unknown gets replaced rather than reused.
