Description

Buffered folders for filing paper records, creased square and cut with a full-height tab. The specification that matters is the crease: a folder scored with a proper multi-position crease sits flat when it is empty and still closes fully when it holds twenty sheets, whereas a single-scored folder splits along the fold within a year of being over-filled. Buffered to an alkaline reserve, so the folder actively protects the paper inside rather than only failing to harm it — which is what a merely neutral folder does. Lignin-free throughout, not a lignin-free liner on a woodpulp core. Fifty to a pack. For photographs, wool, silk or parchment, do not use these: specify the unbuffered stock instead, for the reason set out on the museum board pages.
