Description

Oversize buffered folders for maps, plans, prints and anything that must be stored flat in a plan chest. Cut to the standard drawer sizes so the folder fills the drawer rather than sliding around in it — a folder that moves inside a drawer lets the contents move inside the folder, and that movement is abrasion. Scored on the long edge and supplied flat. The point of a flat file folder is that the object is never lifted unsupported: the folder is drawn out, laid down, and opened, so a large brittle sheet is carried on a rigid plane at every stage. That is the whole discipline for oversize paper and it is why rolling is a last resort rather than a storage method. Ten to a pack.
