Micro-Spatula, Stainless — Pair

Description

A pair of stainless micro-spatulas, one with a flat blade and one with a rounded spoon end, for lifting, easing and placing small repairs. The flat blade goes under a lifting edge; the spoon end carries and positions a paste-out patch without the patch folding over on itself, which is what happens with tweezers every time. Blades are hand-polished — a polished blade releases from wet paste and a machine-finished one drags on the tooling marks, which shows in the repair. Stainless rather than carbon because these live in and out of water all day. One-piece construction with no ferrule, so there is no joint to trap moisture or paste residue and nothing to work loose. Small enough to be held like a pen; the work these do is done from the fingers, not the wrist.
