Neutral pH PVA, Internally Plasticised

Description

A neutral-pH polyvinyl acetate emulsion for casing in, spine linings and box work — anywhere a strong, flexible, fast-setting bond is wanted and reversibility is not the governing requirement. Internally plasticised rather than externally: an externally plasticised PVA loses its plasticiser over years, and the joint it made goes brittle and cracks exactly where it was doing the most work. Internal plasticisation stays put. Dries clear and flexible, takes a fold without crazing, and is water-based throughout — no solvent, no flammability, no ventilation requirement beyond ordinary room air. Not reversible once cured, so it does not belong on an object; it belongs on the housing and the structure around the object. Do not let it freeze, and do not decant back into the stock bottle.
